Follow the process below to ensure that you meet all application requirements. You must apply for admission to Alaska Christian College. Only accepted students will receive a financial-aid award.
Submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to the federal processor. You can do this electronically with a federal PIN. If you don’t have a federal PIN, visit www.pin.ed.gov. Be sure to list Alaska Christian College (#041386) on the FAFSA, so that we will receive your electronic information.
You will receive an electronic Student Aid Report (SAR) from the processor after you file your FAFSA. Review it for accuracy and make any necessary changes as directed. The federal processor will send a simultaneous electronic record of your Student Aid Report to the financial-aid offices you listed on the FAFSA.
Once the federal processor determines your expected family contribution (EFC), our office will let you know the types and amounts of aid you are eligible to receive. Our acknowledgment to you will be a Financial Aid Award Notice. If additional information is needed to determine your exact eligibility, your award may be estimated. Estimated awards are subject to change until complete information is received. (Please respond promptly to our requests for additional information.) Please notify our office of any changes in your family’s financial status or of receipt of increased resources, including outside scholarships or private education loans.
You will need a copy of your taxes as well as your parent/guardian’s taxes in order to fill out the FAFSA. Should you need assistance from ACC in filling these out, please be sure to bring a copy of each with you.
