this is a part-time, temporary position utilized to provide instruction in specific educational content to students. Must have a Master’s degree in their field. Will teach, evaluate and grade class work. Maintain and report grades and embedded assignments. Prepare course materials including syllabi, assignments, and handouts. Must be able to select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation. Courses needed: (Fall 2011) Math, Research Writing, English & Composition, Music/Choir; (Fall 2012) Science: Life Science, Earth Science, or Biology. Director of EnrollmentThis is a full time, exempt position responsible for the daily operations of the Enrollment department through the development of meaningful relationships with potential students across Alaska and the Lower 48 states in order to recruit them to Alaska Christian College. This individual performs necessary administrative duties connected to admitting students including reviews of applications, transcripts, initial scholarships and letters of reference. Must have knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal influences, ethnicity, and cultural histories and origins. This position has oversight of enrollment staff, the enrollment budget, and plans recruitment travel and marketing. Individual must be able to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Functions well in a cross cultural environment, must be adaptable, open to change and considerable variety in the workplace. Must be organized, efficient, and show good time management skills. Must be able to meet the demands of an extraordinary travel schedule. Fundraising to cover salary is required. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
