About Alaska Christian College
ACC has received the “candidate for accreditation” status from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). ACC is recognized as an excellent educational institution by this national accrediting organization as well as the U.S. Department of Education. This status allows students access to receive state and federal financial aid, Native corporation scholarships, as well as transfer credits to other accredited institutions.
ACC is a non-profit organization funded primarily by gifts from individuals, churches, corporations, and foundations. Donations support faculty and staff, programming, operations costs, and student scholarships. Through the generosity of supporters, ACC is able to provide quality educational training with a small staff to student ratio, individual care with one-on-one mentoring, and a safe, supportive environment in which students can grow in their faith.
